Cardie policies
Terms of Service
Simple rules for using Cardie — for customers booking yard card displays and for local entrepreneurs who run a route. Clear expectations for orders and for the platform itself.
Effective August 12, 2026
Who’s who
Cardie is the software platform that powers billing, scheduling, routing tools, and local signup pages. Cardie is operated by Mahy Group LLC.
Your local Cardie route is run by an independent entrepreneur (the business name on your signup page). They set pricing, manage installs, and are your main contact for day-to-day service. They are responsible for carrying their own business and vehicle insurance; Cardie does not insure their operations.
Route partners / installers may place and pick up displays. Using Cardie means you understand service is fulfilled through this local network, coordinated on the Cardie platform.
The service
Cardie helps arrange yard card display orders — booking, payment, install, and pickup — depending on your route’s schedule and inventory.
Customers pay for the display service they book. You can stop using the service anytime. When you use Cardie, these Terms still apply to that use.
Local routes may share house rules (install windows, display sizes, service areas) that stay consistent with these Terms.
SMS / text messages
By providing your mobile number on Cardie signup (or in profile settings) and checking the SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring service texts from Cardie about your account and yard card service (order updates, status texts, and related service messages). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help, or START to resubscribe. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Full opt-in documentation: SMS program & opt-in. Privacy details: Privacy Policy — SMS.
Orders & access
You’re responsible for providing an accurate install address and any access notes your route needs to place or pick up a display safely.
Displays should be left accessible for scheduled pickup. Damage to inventory beyond normal weather wear may be handled under your local route’s published policies.
Payment
Prices are set by your local route. Charges for completed or eligible services are processed through Stripe on the Cardie platform.
By booking or completing a Cardie order, you authorize the applicable charge under your local route’s published rates. Questions about a charge? Start with your local Cardie contact listed on your route page or in the app.
Accounts & acceptable use
Keep your login and contact info current. Don’t misuse the platform (fraud, harassment, scraping, or interfering with routes or other customers). We or your local route may suspend access if needed to protect the service or others.
For route entrepreneurs — insurance, liability & no profit guarantee
If you run a local Cardie route, Cardie is the software platform, branding assets, and operational tools that help you build a yard card business. You remain an independent business owner: you set pricing, manage inventory and installs, and pay your own costs.
- Your own business insurance. You must obtain and maintain appropriate business / general liability insurance (and any other coverage required for your operations) at your own expense. Cardie does not provide, arrange, underwrite, or pay for your business insurance.
- Your own vehicle insurance. Any vehicle you or your helpers use for installs, pickups, deliveries, or other route work must be covered by valid automobile insurance that you arrange and keep current. Cardie does not provide auto insurance or coverage for wrecks, accidents, or roadside incidents.
- No platform responsibility for wrecks or claims. Cardie and Mahy Group LLC are not responsible for vehicle accidents, property damage, personal injury, third-party claims, or other losses arising from how you, your installers, or your helpers operate the route — including negligence.
- No customer payouts from Cardie. Cardie does not owe customers refunds, goodwill credits, insurance-style settlements, or other dollar support based on your (or your helpers’) acts, omissions, or negligence. Any claim handling or compensation to customers is between you, your customers, and your insurers — not an obligation of the Cardie platform.
- No profit guarantee. Cardie does not guarantee any specific financial return, profit, positive cash flow, customer volume, or income. Results depend on your local market, effort, pricing, and how you run the route.
- No responsibility for business losses. Cardie is not responsible for negative income, operational losses, unpaid balances you choose to absorb, or unexpected expenses incurred while operating your route.
Platform vs local route — limitation of liability
Cardie (Mahy Group LLC) provides software, payments tooling, and branding. Day-to-day yard card service is performed by independent local route entrepreneurs and their helpers.
- Cardie is not the employer of local entrepreneurs, installers, or helpers, and does not control their vehicles, driving, or on-site install practices.
- To the fullest extent allowed by law, Cardie and Mahy Group LLC are not liable for accidents, wrecks, property damage, personal injury, lost or damaged displays, missed installs, or other losses arising from a local route’s operations or negligence.
- Cardie does not provide insurance coverage for customers or routes, and does not pay insurance-style claims or customer compensation on behalf of a local entrepreneur.
- Service questions and damage claims should start with your local Cardie route. Platform questions can go to Cardie as described under Changes & contact.
